Rush of Fools

Bio

When tragedy strikes, as it did their home state of Alabama, Rush Of Fools responded in the way that comes most natural to them – offer hope and tangible encouragement to anyone in need. The band organized food drives and put together a benefit concert in Birmingham. This reaction was not new to them. In the midst of their own trials over the past 3 years, the band wrote and created WE ONCE WERE, an album of hope and restoration both for themselves and for others. Produced by Dennis Herring (Counting Crows, Modest Mouse), the album features songs which speak to trust, faithfulness and the human condition like the first single “Grace Found Me” – already a radio favorite! Other songs like “Beginning To End,” and “Won’t Say Goodbye,” speak to gained confidence through faith in the hearts of believers.

Having burst onto the Christian music scene in 2007 with the mega-hit “Undo,” and multiple other radio successes, Rush Of Fools earned ASCAP Song of the Year honors and garnered four Dove Award nominations. Their trials came with the folding of their record label and a subsequent legal process. Now with eOne (Entertainment One), Rush Of Fools returns sounding more hopeful than ever. WE ONCE WERE by Rush Of Fools available in stores and online September 27, 2011.
